Some days the mail is much more exciting than on other days, and yesterday was a knockout.
The little gem that you see on the right arrived safe and sound and ready to play. It is, rather obviously, a reel-to-reel tape of Gershwin’s Rhapsody In Blue along with An American In Paris.
There is a bunch of other pieces on the tape, too. All are really great, and this tape is a cool addition to the small collection.
I have been playing reel-to-reel tapes on a Sony TC-355 machine that you probable read about in an earlier post. I am pleased to say that the tape machine has been working perfectly, and that is saying some for a device that is about 60 years old!
