The Sony TC-355 reel-to-reel machine that was featured in the last post not only has been working great, but it has been a knockout. It has been playing commercially available music tapes, a big deal up until the late 1970s and, more importantly, the early 1980s when CDs. Came out. Here is an example of a tape of Tacoma’s own The Ventures. The sound is spectacular. The channel separation is amazing. Truly a knockout experience.
